Visit to War Panorama Museum, Cairo
Recently (December 2005) a PakDef member had a
chance to visit the War Panorama Museum in
Cairo, Egypt. Although not reacted to Pakistan
Armed Forces, these pictures are being uploaded
here for defence enthusiast interested in
Egyptian-Israeli war related equipment. The
museum is located at 30 minutes drive from Cairo
Airport, in a part of Cairo known as "Nasr
City". The museum also offers war footage of the
1973 Yom Kippur War, showing the Egyptian forces
over-running the Israeli defences. Footage of
Israeli POW’s, SAM’s being fired and Egyptian
Air Force planes take off for sorties against
IDF is also shown.
