The Frontier Post reports 18 Marines killed the day the landed near Kandahar. Is this true? I don't expect the US media or the Pentagon to report casualties truthful for fear of a public outcry, but how reliable are FP sources?

The FP usually has very good sources, but the US cannot acknowledge these for a long time. So I would think these news would not be confirmed until a few years from now when some of the veterans of this war write their memoirs. If they survive that is ...
